~G & G Hill~

After we made our way back from MO, to our home in VA and enjoyed a few days rest, we put G and G to work in the back yard.  We had been wanting and needing to get back there to clean up the massive amounts of neglect the yard received after being forgotten for 2 years when no one lived here.  Thanks G and G for racking, hauling logs and more to get a start of the very large job this will be.  I think we all were ready to stop when we did.  Plus, this was the day of Jason's surprise 40th b-day party.  We had to get him gone so we could get our guest here.

It's a good feeling when those who come to visit are comfortable and relaxed while with us.  I think Hobbes may have found two more friends.  I had to take the picture of Lilly sleeping on Grandpa in church.  I remember doing the same thing on my dad when I was her age.

Our last day together we headed to the Grand Caverns and Woodrow Wilson's home and museum.  It was a lot to do in one day, but a lot of fun for us all.

When we got home from our 2 1/2 trip to Harrisonburg, VA to wrap up my parent's stay, we found this sweet heart and a note for each Little on their beds from G and G.  Thanks dad and mom for letting us barge in on your last trip to MO, travel across the country together, for being there in the good and bad times of our trip, for building memories with us in our new home before you head off on your mission(s) and for the love and time your showered upon us.  We love you!

Love that picture of Lilly and your dad at church, so sweet. Those little hearts they left are so cute! Looks like you had a wonderful time with them (except for the stolen truck part, which will be a story that your kids will always tell and never forget...including the way you handled it!)
