~Left Empty~

The Mr. and I went to vote for the 2012 Presidential election.  President Obama was running for reelection against Governor Mitt Romney.  We were severely heart broken and sickened at the results.  We were very active in this election from the very beginning, following every bit of it.  We were even, posted just a bit earlier, able to take our Little's to a Romney rally here in VA.  We were hopeful that we'd vote in a new leader that had us, the American people's best interest at heart.  One who'd finally fight to hold tight to the values of our wonderful Constitution that so many have given their lives for.  One who'd take the job as President of the United States of America seriously and stop parading around like it's some kind of "celebrity-reality show roll".  One who'd take jobs, the economy, freedoms of the people and the voice of the people seriously.  One who wanted to actually see and help our great nation be great once again.  One who'd take our foreigin affairs and security seriously.  We were left with a really big sick pit in our stomachs when the results come out.  I do not feel like we are going to even recognize the America we once knew and loved, as we have watched it change into something very different over the past four years. 
All we can do is to continue living our lives and raising our Little's as best as we can and as close to the values and beliefs that we hold so dear.  We too shall pray every day for the President to be the man and leader he needs to and should be to represent the voice of the people and what America stands for.
