~family night~helping hands~

Last Monday for our "Family Night" we were blessed to go help those in need.  One of the LDS Stakes in our area was heading up a donation center for those effected from the "Super storm Sandy".  We were just a few in MANY helpers that came to unload and sort the donated goods.  The loads kept coming by the truck and trailer full.  We were not surprised, but amazed at the out pour of love for those in such desperate need of just the very necessary things one might need to survive.  I know that this was just one of MANY areas in the country heading up donations to be sent up to NY and NJ.  It was a wonderful way to spend our time as a family as we have been blessed with so much.  It was also a reminder of how all that we have could be swept away at any moment.  I loved watching our tired, but so happy Little's pitch right in and help the only way they knew how.  

What an amazing organization to be apart of.  We are so grateful to belong to a church that believes that "we are our brother's keeper."
