~LIFE~

So our "house selling-buying" journey hasn't been anything that we expected.  We have had an offer on our house, then they walked away after keeping it off the market for two months of the summer.  We have put FOUR offers on FOUR other homes to buy, only to be out bid, or other forces at work that prevent us from getting any of those homes.  We have seen, I've lost count, close to 100 homes and countless more via the Internet.  We are headed back out with our realtor to look at yet more homes this Sunday and again later next week. 

This started out with our hearts feeling very inspired to "sell" our house and move.  We started this process with looking to move out West, but the opportunities just aren't there for us right now.  During this process, Jason has received a NEW AND AMAZING AND WONDERFUL new boss, a PROMOTION AND A RAISE.  Things at his work continue to improve and move forward with more great surprises ahead for our family.  

This has consumed our lives since the first of this year with getting our house ready to sell, and always having to have it "show-ready" at a moments notice, while taking in a little "poop machine" of a dog for a family in need of a home for him.  Along with looking looking and looking for our next home to move into, summer camps for the kids, church activities, and the FINE-PRINT of all that goes into what we are trying to accomplish.  This has been, by far, the hardest of summers/year for us, but with many wonderful blessings along the way.  We've had so many wonderful people supporting us in this journey with prayers, fasting on our behalf, boxes donated, sweet and encouraging messages and phone calls and much much more. 

Yes, this journey hasn't turned out at all like we had "thought" it would be, but we are learning and growing in so many ways from this.  Our hearts or full with the love and support we have and are receiving during this time.  THANKS in the BIGGEST of ways for that and we love you all!
