SOCCER...

So I have to brag about our kids for a minute...okay...I'm always bragging about the, but that's what parents do. Kadin, Hunter and Mason have all played soccer before. It's been THREE YEARS since they've played as they took a break to do Tae Kwon Do for one of those years. Lilly, on the other hand, has never played soccer. She's always been involved in dance classes. We signed all four kids up to play this year. If you've been watching the news at all the past few weeks you would've heard/seen the huge amounts of rain we've been getting out East. They all were to have their fist practice this past week and then first game yesterday. Well, all of the practices were called off due to the wet weather conditions. That meant they played their first games with not prior practice, meeting of their coach or team mates. It was kind of a worry in the back of my mind as it's been so long since they've played, or not played at all (Lilly). WOW------they did terrific!!! Lilly took the field and made it her own. She's a big taller then the rest of her team, or anyone else on the field, but really got in and played like she was a pro. She had a perm a-smile on her face the whole time...What a fun game to watch and a great job!

I’ll be posting the pictures of Kadin and Hunter’s game next…thank goodness they were put on the same team this year.  That will help out as Lilly has two dance classes this year along with soccer…THREE practices a week and THREE games on Saturday are better then FOUR. 

Mason plays on the U-10 group and they have an extra team in that level.  His team didn’t have a game Saturday, so they’ll get at least one practice in this week before next Saturday’s game…pictures to come from that…
