So our oldest was baptized on his 8th birthday. You could tell that he was really excited. His Dad was excited, too. Kadin did a great job - although Dad had to dunk him twice and the water was cold. For sure Kadin will remember his Baptism for the rest of his life.
As it was his B-day we were obliged to get him some gifts. As you can plainly see, that is a Nintendo DS. Yes, we have entered the world of completely portable, video nirvana. Kadin is taking after his Dad in his love of all things video. Still, Kadin is growing up and is no longer a little boy, he is a big boy in all sense of the words.
As an added bonus, Grandma and Grandpa were able to be here for everything. It was great to have them and if nothing else they always get a great workout with our four very active kids.

Wait a minute. How come I missed this? Was this "advertised" or was this a private event? :)
