I can't wait till I'm "8"

So this little lady turned "8" on August 2, 2013.  This was a HUGE occasion and she couldn't wait for it to arrive.  This is the age that our children are baptized as a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints.  She was able to be baptized in the same building and font that all of three of her older brothers were.  We have a tradition of having our children baptized ON THEIR BIRTHDAY as a way to always remember that exact day.  We had the best home teacher, Brother Walker and his wife Sister Walker, and best of friends the Roberson family make the long drive back to Charles Town, WV to attend.  Grandpa and Grandma Hill gave us a huge surprise with a visit out from Utah to not miss this most special day for Lilly.  We were overcome with gratitude for all of our good friends and people we love from both the Charles Town and Harpers Ferry Wards who come out on an early Friday evening to support Lilly and our family by being there.  The room was packed and we were so touched! 

Lilly was glowing with excitement the entire day.  She had asked Kadin to give the talk on Baptism and Hunter to speak on the Holy Ghost.  Dad did the baptizing and confirming and Grandpa and Grandma Hill offered the prayers.  She didn't leave Mason out by asking him to play "I am a Child of God" on the piano.  It was all so amazing and the spirit filled not only the building but our hearts.  Lilly, you are an example to all of love and service and happiness.
