Christmas = STRESSED OUT = NOT!!!

So in light of this past year and the high levels of STRESS our little family have been under, we are NOT getting uptight AT ALL this holiday season.  We are staying focused on the TRUE and most pure reason behind this Christmas season = the birth and celebration of our Lord and Savior Jesus.  To heck with all of the shopping, perfectly wrapped presents, beautiful cookie plates to pass out for the ooo's' and ahhh's, perfectly lighted house inside and out, matched sweaters for the Christmas card picture, and and and...  Don't get me wrong, we'll partake in of all of that, but in a very grounded and down-played way.  As the Mr and I start seeing (and I finally admit) the wrinkles on our faces, our oldest turning into a "teenager" in weeks time and we have moved far beyond babies with our Littles, the world going to POT all around us and realizing that Christ-like morals are becoming outdated, life is too short and precious to not take stock in the only important matters. 

So if we don't call you as much as you'd like or get to see you as much as we'd like, we do value you and count you among the many blessings we are so grateful for in this life.  May your season be filled with the true spirit of Christmas and centered around our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.  May you feel of His love and recognize His hand in all things.  May you stop in the hurried and rushed expectations of others to slow down and give thanks to Him for all things.  This is our Christmas wish to you all and to carry it throughout your lives in all things.
