Kadin's 1st...

Kadin was able to attend his 1st youth temple trip this month.  Ever since he was super little Kadin has been saying how excited he was to get to go IN the temple.  We've done little day trips to the temple grounds and Visitor Center next door with the Littles over the years.  It was a very wonderful and exciting day for not only Kadin, but us proud parents as well.  He couldn't keep the smile off his face even though he tried at times.  He was a little nervous, but excited just didn't cover it. 
Here at the Washington DC temple, the youth are usually brought around to the back lower level and let in by the baptism area.  Starting in May they were doing what they called the "test groups" for going through the front doors of the temple and taken through the main floor to the lower baptism area.  Luckily we were able to get in on one of these "test groups" and Kadin was in awe!  He said the inside was a lot more full of color then what he had pictured it would be. 
What an exciting day for him.  What a blessing that both Jason and I could be apart of that with him.
