We all
decided to do things a little differently this year. Instead of staying at home and setting off
the load of fireworks we would’ve spent money buying, we spent that money
letting others pamper us and getting to watch a terrific show. We drove up to
Freedom
Celebration. It included a catered
dinner (so super yummy), an hour of a beautiful live orchestra and pretty much
front row seat off the river where they have the firework show. What a memory we had together. Thanks Nicole for thinking to bring glow toys
and sparklers for the kids. It even drew
the attention of a magazine photographer that was there taking pictures. Anybody find out the name of the magazine she
was shooting for? I bet our kiddos are
in it.

and Nicole, how did we get out of there without getting a family picture of you
guys???
Great day and
night so full of fun from the hike all the way down to the late hour of getting
back up to Rexburg and through the parking lot of cars going there too.

Looks like a great way to celebrate :)
I'm still amazed that none of the kids fell in the river. That would have made the night truly a family story for the ages.
